Jordanian Foreign Ministry has issued official statement attacking the verdict.

A statement from the ministry's spokesman said: "The decision allows extremists to perform ceremonies in the plazas of the al-Aqsa Mosque and the entire compound. "A blatant violation of international decisions concerning Jerusalem, including the decisions of the Security Council, which all clarify the need to preserve the status quo in the Holy City."
