A 72-year-old volunteer tried to help a family in distress in Nahal Amud, tripped - and fell to his death

Peretz Giladi, a volunteer with the Nature and Parks Authority, was called in to help a family in distress after suffering from a water shortage during a trip in Nahal Amud. During the rescue, the 72-year-old stumbled and fell from a great height. He was taken to Ziv Hospital in Safed, where he was pronounced dead.
