More than a thousand worship on the Temple Mount on the occasion of Tisha B'Av; Bennett: Jews can continue to pray on the Temple Mount

More than a thousand Jewish worshipers visited the Temple Mount this morning (Sunday) on the occasion of the events of Tisha B'Av. In the shadow of the fear of clashes, many police officers have been stationed in Jerusalem over the past day, and young Palestinians have thrown stones at them in the early morning hours. Jews claimed that stones were also thrown at them.

"In assessing the situation of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Minister of Internal Security Amar Bar-Lev and Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, it was decided not to ban Jews from entering the mountain at this stage." From the Prime Minister's Office. "The Prime Minister receives regular updates and will conduct additional situation assessments in the coming hours."
