According to senior U.S. military officials, Russia has attacked a U.S. base in southern Syria that serves as the international coalition against ISIS.

U.S. military officials have said Russia has carried out a series of operations against the US-led coalition in Syria over the past month, the Wall Street Journal reported yesterday (Friday). 

According to officials, Russia has attacked the U.S. base in al-Tanf in southern Syria that serves as the international coalition against ISIS. Officials told the newspaper that they were concerned about the escalation that could lead to an unintentional confrontation between the US and Russia in Syria.
