President Biden's planned visit to Israel is intended to try and prevent the collapse of the Bennett government in light of its dismal coalition situation, dysfunction in the security field and in an attempt to influence Israeli public opinion.

The administration is very worried about the return of the Likud led by Netanyahu to power.
