Young Man Comes from Ukraine to Israel, to Serve in the IDF!

This week, Slava Wolinski was drafted into the IDF to begin Paratrooper training!

He immigrated to Israel alone from Ukraine through the "Naaleh" program, to enlist as a combat soldier in the IDF and contribute as much as he could to Israel. His mother and younger brother remained in Ukraine, so Slava is drafting as a lone soldier.

Upon his arrival in Israel, Slava went straight to the Ramat Hadassah boarding school in Kiryat Tivon, where he studied Hebrew. Now, he lives in Tiberias with other lone soldiers.
