The PA continues to promote the libel that Israelis target and murder Palestinian children- and that Palestinians must boycott Israeli products if they don't want to support "barbaric occupiers".
Using a picture of a wounded baby, Fatah is calling on Palestinians to boycott Israeli products. The ad above implies the PA libel that Israel deliberately targets, hurts, and even kills Palestinian children and that buying Israeli products will help finance this.
In the ad, Fatah labels Israel the “enemy” and urges Palestinians to “boycott Israeli products”.
The use of the PA libel that Israel deliberately targets Palestinian children to promote a boycott of Israeli products is not new.
Palestinian Media Watch exposed that the PA Ministry of Education and the PA Ministry of Economy used similar symbolism in a campaign in PA schools in 2017.
An exhibit at a girls' school in Jenin showed bloody disembodied hands and a doll with its head removed. Around them were scattered Israeli products and missiles with logos of Israeli companies, among them the dairy company Tnuva, teaching children that buying Israeli products facilitates murdering Palestinians.
Interviewed about the boycott campaign, a teacher warned that buying Israeli goods will finance the killing of Palestinian children:
Palestinian teacher Ghada Abd Al-Rahman: "The goal of our campaign is to boycott Israeli products and support Palestinian products, because if we buy from the occupation, that money goes to weapons and they will shoot our sons."
PMW has documented that the PA is actively promoting the libel to kids that Israel seeks to hurt them, telling them that "barbaric" Israel’s goal is to kill kids – “so don't walk alone!”
A few days before the ad with the baby in the Star of David above was posted by Fatah’s Nablus branch, Palestinians held a demonstration in Nablus, calling to boycott Israeli goods and replacing them with Palestinian goods.
