Twin brothers Second Lt. Ilay and Staff Sgt. Yotam enlisted to the Field Intelligence Brigade together. During basic training, they were placed in the same platoon and were even put in the same battalion.

When they finished their training, they continued on to IDF Commanders Course, where they separated for the first time—Ilay decided to go to Officers Course, and Yotam became a commander in his battalion.
