Russia is preventing Hezbollah from exporting phosphates from Syria to Lebanon

Earlier this week, on Sunday, April 17, Russian forces closed the road to phosphate trucks belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, preventing them from leaving the Hanifis field, south of Tadmor, in the eastern rural area of ??Homs.

The Ein Hafrat news network learned that Russian forces and the Corps 5 militia stopped 25 trucks loaded with phosphates that were destined to reach Lebanese Hezbollah, on the al-Mahsa road, south of Homs.

The trucks were forced to return to the Khanifis field, with a clear message from Russia to prevent the transfer of phosphates to Lebanon via Lebanese Hezbollah.

The source confirmed that a similar incident took place about two weeks ago, when Russian forces prevented Hezbollah from producing oil from the Sha'ar and Jazel fields, east of Homs.

It is worth noting that the Lebanese Hezbollah militia used to transport dozens of trucks loaded with oil and phosphate from Homs fields towards Lebanon with the support of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia.

It used illegal truck crossings, which are spread along the Syrian-Lebanese border and are controlled by the militia, most of which is located in the al-Qusayr area, west of Homs.
