ISIS attack in north Sinai: 4 dead, including the commander of an Egyptian commando battalion
An officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Egyptian army and 3 civilians were killed today, Sunday, in an ambush attack in North Sinai, knowledgeable sources told the Egyptian news agency Erm News.

The sources said that "Lieutenant Colonel Essam Essam, commander of the 103rd commando battalion, was killed along with 3 other civilians from the Bedouin tribes in Sinai."
The sources added that the three civilians who were killed were "Amer Amira, Hussain Salem and Tawfiq Shaheen", while the fourth, Muhammad Mustafa, was wounded, as a result of the armed attack by the ISIS terrorist cell operating in North Sinai.
