"This morning they connected my Xenia to the respirator," wrote the mother of 5-year-old Xenia, who has grade 4 neuroblastoma cancer - a grade that is considered the most severe.

"When the cancer came back for the second time in little Xenia's body it came back aggressively and quickly. The first metastases appeared in the uterine cavity but very quickly the tumor also spread towards the kidneys and lungs.

When the chemotherapy treatments did not help to stop the cancer and the doctors raised their hands, little Xenia was connected the respirator.

An Israeli crowd funding campaign is underway to pay the health costs.
