Avi Dadon, Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Defense, announced the signing of a planning agreement for the employees of the Israel Shipyards in Haifa.

As part of the agreement, which was formed in collaboration with the Sea Arm, Israel Shipyards will carry out a detailed engineering design for the next storm ship in the amount of NIS 50 million. It is expected to replace the old Nirit ships that were absorbed into the navy about 40 years ago.
