Jordanian media update that the death toll in the port of Aqaba has risen to 10.

The director of the Ministry of Health in Aqaba calls on the residents of Aqaba to close the openings (houses, etc.) and stay in their homes. He said the hospitals were filled with suffocation victims and a field hospital was opened. He told the Saudi Al-Hadath channel that 4 hospitals had received the wounded.

In the Arab media, a video has been shown on social media in which the general announcement in the city of Aqaba calls on residents to stay away from the area due to the incident at the port.

Jordanian Al-Malka Channel reports blocking vehicle traffic and not allowing people to enter Aqaba following the port disaster. The channel also said that hazardous materials purification teams are working in the port at the moment. The Saudi Al-Hadath channel reports reinforcements from additional medical teams to the city of Aqaba.
