An "alarming" amount of guns and machine guns was discovered yesterday (Friday) by French police after raiding homes belonging to men suspected of being members of a neo-Nazi gang.
The four men, aged 45 to 53, were arrested in Mulhouse in eastern France and the country's intelligence services believe they planned to search for Jews and attack them during a football match in the city of Strasbourg. The suspects have been charged with arms trafficking and are expected to face up to 10 years in prison.
The weapons cache found by French police found 18 legal guns, 23 illegal and the equivalent of at least 120,000 bullet cartridges, in addition to extreme antisemitic literature. No further details were provided by the plaintiff who called the organization "Jewish hunting."
