A new report by the Working Group for Palestinians in Syria documented the number of Palestinian refugees executed on the ground by Assad's forces since the outbreak of the Syrian revolution.
The report confirmed that 101 Palestinian refugees were executed by Assad's militias in the area, from 2011 to April 2022, including sixteen people executed in the Tadmon neighborhood of Damascus.
The report added that 25 refugees were executed by regime forces in the Daraa refugee camp, 19 in the Yarmouk camp in Damascus, 18 in Aleppo in northern Syria, and 16 in the al-Tadmon neighborhood.
The authors of the report noted that seventeen conscripts from the Palestinian Liberation Army were abducted in 2012, while returning to their base in the Nirav camp in Aleppo, and were eliminated about a month later.
They noted that dozens of Palestinian refugees from the al-Tadmon neighborhood, south of Damascus, including entire families, were missing after being arrested by al-Assad forces while passing through their checkpoints.
