Israel Adding Extra Bus Services over Passover holiday

The Ministry of Transportation will operate new lines and increase popular lines to nature and tourism sites during Passover.

This is to allow the general public to leave their private car at home and travel to a variety of nature and recreation sites using public transportation.

More than 70 bus lines that operate regularly allow travel to about 30 nature and recreation sites, including the Majesa, the Sea of Galilee, the Biblical Zoo, Caesarea National Park and Rosh Hankara. A large part of the lines will be increased for the holiday to allow travelers and families to visit them without the need in a private car.

Also, three dedicated lines will be operated only on the designated weekdays: the Mailat line to the Red Mall; a line from the Nahariya train station to Rosh Hankara; and a line from the train station in Nimina to the port of Caesarea.

In the north, lines will be operated to Khorshet Tal, the banks of the Sea of Galilee, the Majersah, the Jewish Reserve, Gan HaSlosha, Nahal Kibbutzim, Miron, Safed, the bridges park in Nesher, Ramat Handiv in Zichron Ya’akov, and more. This, in addition to dedicated lines to Rosh Hankara and Caesarea National Park.

In the Jerusalem area, the lines will be operated to the Biblical Zoo and the Israel Aquarium, the Castle National Site, Ein Hamed National Park, Nabi Samuel National Park, the Cave of the Twins, the Ness Harim Nature Reserve, Ein Hindak, and the springs axis and more.

In the south, the lines to Ein Gedi and Nahal David, Masada National Park, Ein Abdat, Tamna Park and more will be activated. This is in addition to a dedicated line between Eilat and the Red Sea Mall.
