Israeli, Bahraini think tanks to cooperate on setting up network in Persian Gulf area

The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs signed a cooperation agreement with Bahrain's "Derasat" research institute. "We decided to establish a network of think tanks in the Persian Gulf," the Jerusalem Center said

On August 8, the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, headed by the former director-general of Israel's Foreign Ministry, Dore Gold, signed a historic cooperation agreement with the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), headed by the deputy foreign minister of Bahrain, Sheikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

The Jerusalem Center is the first think tank in Israel to sign cooperation agreements with both the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, and it intends to expand its cooperation in the framework of the Abraham Accords to other countries.
