Upon the invitation of his Bahraini counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid will travel to the Kingdom of Bahrain tomorrow (Thursday, 30 September 2021) on the first official visit by an Israeli minister to that country. 

Both foreign ministers will inaugurate the Israeli Embassy in Manama. 

In addition, a number of bilateral agreements will be signed during the visit. 

FM Lapid will be accompanied by MFA Director-General Alon Ushpiz and Deputy
Dor-Gen for Middle Eastern Affairs and the Peace Process Oded Joseph.
