Lebanese media outlets report that US mediator Amos Hochstein called Lebanese Deputy Speaker and other senior officials, condemning the launch of the UAVs by Hezbollah and warned that this could lead to an end to the border registration negotiations.

The US ambassador to Lebanon, for her part, protested to the Lebanese foreign minister about Hezbollah's action.
