TURKEY: Israeli President Herzog to visit Turkey in March, may visit Greece before

The Turkish daily in English, 'Daily Sabach' reports this morning that Israel President Herzog will visit Turkey on March 9-10 to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the same time, The Israeli Hamal news reports that this week there will be a visit by a senior Turkish delegation to Israel.

"The Turkish delegation includes the speaker and senior adviser to Turkish President Ibrahim Kline, and Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sadat Onal. During the visit, the two will meet with the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alon Ushpiz, the Director General of the President's House, Eyal Shuiki, and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President's House."

In the meanwhile, the Greek media report that even before Herzog's visit to Turkey, he will go to an official meeting in Greece, where he will meet with the heads of state. The purpose of the visit to Greece is to convey to it and to Cyprus the message that " the warming with Turkey will not come at the expense of a strong alliance."
