Another "fake" UN report: The details that the UN does not mention about Israel
Doron Peskin, Middle East Expert 25.11.2021
The United Nations Trade and Development Organization yesterday released a report on the cost of Israeli closures to the Palestinian economy. The report states that the cost between 2000 and 2019 is estimated at about $58 billion. This average exceeds about $3 billion a year or about 20% of Palestinian GDP in 2019.
The report of course also "accuses" Israel of not creating employment opportunities in the Palestinian economy due to reliance on the Israeli market.
The reasons for the Israeli closures are, for example, a desire to prevent suicide bombers from entering Israeli cities. Will a special report be issued on the cost of corruption from the Palestinian economy?
We are waiting patiently for this report...
