The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reports this morning (Monday, Jan 22):
Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that SDF have accomplished their combing operations in all residential neighbourhoods arround Al-Sina’a prison in Ghuwayran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah city.
Meanwhile SOHR activists have confirmed that there are 500 to 600 ISIS members keeping over 50 employees and guards hostages insides the prison. Moreover, there are children of the “Caliphate Cubs” still inside the prison.
On the other hand, ISIS members have threatened, via loudspeakers, to execute all hostages in the prison, amid subsiding clashes. Furthermore, ISIS media has circulated video footages showing the hostages, while ISIS tended to stir up strife between the Kurds and Arabs.
We have attached two videos:
ISIS terrorists who escaped from a US-controlled prison in northern Syria have captured some of the US-backed militants that were sent to capture them. The second video show ongoing fighting near the Al-Sina'a prison in Syria
There are additional reports that the International coalition warplanes have launched 6 raids since dawn today, on sites where ISIS is fortified in the Ghweran neighborhood of the city of Hasakah.
