The words of the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Aviv Kochavi: 

"We finished a month's training a little while ago, and the last of the fighters have just returned to the platform from Cyprus.

I would like to express great appreciation to all the participants in the exercise. I saw you all month long - I saw professionalism, mission and an excellent spirit. We started the interrogation and learning process yesterday, but two conclusions can already be drawn: one, that there is a deep partnership between the security arms and the IDF units, and it is based on mutual trust and friendship. This is power.

Second, a phrase that the commanders repeated throughout the exercise many times was the sense of capability that the exercise created. The IDF is leaving this month with high confidence in its capabilities and high confidence in its level of execution. After this month, the IDF is much more honed, much more coordinated, more modern and more prepared.

And if that was not enough, throughout the month we continued to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria and with special activity in all sectors. Very much appreciated by all of you."
