Israel’s Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi met Friday with his Cypriot, Greek and Emirati counterparts, saying that “Iran threatens Israel and its neighbors.” The Israeli official participated in a triumvirate summit on strategic and regional matters, in which he raised the threat of the Iranian regime on Middle East stability and the potential peace of the region. “Iran seeks to acquire nuclear weapons and continues to develop long-range missiles,” the top diplomat said during the summit that was held in Paphos, Cyprus.
