The latest trend in the "poor" "West Bank"

Recently, a new industry has begun to develop in the West Bank, especially in the area of Jericho and Nasaria.

This is a type of tourism for the "rich only" in which Palestinian entrepreneurs have set up luxurious chalets (cabins or B&Bs) that include the best pampering and usually also a pool.

The price of a vacation in these slats is not cheap for many Palestinians - about 1000 dollars per day. In the Palestinian market, they explain that despite the high price, demand is on the rise since Palestinian families do not have many alternatives for spending time together with their children.

In an article published on the subject by the Arab newspaper "A-Sharq al-Awast" it is written that throughout the West Bank there are hundreds of such sites. The Palestinian Authority government, which is trying to monitor this industry, announced in September 2022 that cabin owners must obtain an operating license, but there does not seem to be full compliance with this requirement.
