Dr. Edy Cohen reports:
A few minutes ago I was interviewed by the BBC. As usual, the broadcaster asks me if Israel would like to escalate the situation in an attempt to blame us for what is happening in Jerusalem.
Before I went on the air, their reporter who was broadcasting inside Jerusalem reported that "700 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque" (Not one went or even thought to go to the mosque itself).
When it was my turn I did not remain obligated, I burst out and said live the following:
"Every visit of every Jew who ascends the Temple Mount is made in coordination with the Jordanian authorities in charge of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Any attempt to describe otherwise is unacceptable and misleading.
Terrorists in Jerusalem attacked 10 civilian buses, ten Jewish children were injured, a number of Arabs attacked 7 religious people who were on their way to pray. Why did you not mention this news?
The broadcaster was angry and took me off the air.
I will continue to protect Israel and its citizens!
