During Operation Guardian of the Walls, "swarms" of drones were used in Gaza against the Hamas

Israeli military sources revealed that during Operation Guardian of the Walls, "swarms" of small drones were fired in Gaza against Hamas targets - "6,000 hours of operation for drones during Operation Guardian of the Walls" - 24 UAVs were in the air simultaneously during Operation - 80% of the Israeli Air Force's operational flight hours are performed by UAVs

Israel on Thursday completed an international military exercise for UAV operators, the first of its kind in the country, two months after the Israeli military campaign it conducted mainly with these UAVs against the Palestinian Hamas movement in Gaza.

Ten days ago, drone operators from Israel, the United States, Italy, Germany, Britain and France conducted a joint exercise called "The Blue Guard" at the Palmachim air base, south of Tel Aviv.

Amir Lazar, commander of the exercise on behalf of the Israeli Air Force at the site, said that the exercise was intended to "place the Israeli army among the leading countries in terms of remote aircraft operators."

"Today, 80% of the Israeli army's operational flight hours are performed by these aircraft," he explained.
