Recently, IDF troops arrested 5 wanted Hamas terrorists near Birzeit in the area of the Binyamin Territorial Brigade.

At the time of the arrest, at least one wanted terrorist tried to escape and in response, the force initiated a arrest procedure that included firing at the wanted person. A hit was detected and the wanted person was arrested. There are no casualties to our forces.

The names of the detainees are:

- Muhammad Akram al-Khatib
- Walid Harazana
- Ismail Barghouti
- Qassam Nahala
- 'Abd al-Hakat' Sharbani

Ismail Barghouti was wounded by IDF gunfire while trying to escape arrest.
