An Australian website quotes Russian political analyst Valery Solovy as saying that Vladimir Putin had transferred his family members to an underground bunker in an unknown place in Siberia.
The 61-year-old Solovi added, according to the Syrian news site Orient Net, that the bunker, equipped with all the most advanced high-tech equipment, is located in the Altai Mountains and is designed to protect the president's family in the event of a nuclear war.
"Moving his family to this site has meaning," he added.
Solovi did not elaborate on the identities of Putin's family members who were transferred to the remote site, but previously claimed that 38-year-old Olympic gold medalist Alina Kabayeva was his secret wife.
The Russian expert clarified that the transfer of his family to a hiding place came after Putin's strategic plan to invade Ukraine "failed" (in quotation marks originally) and that Putin was subject to a very strong collective response from the West regarding Russian plans.
Putin announced that the Russian military's nuclear deterrent had been put on combat alert in an attempt to blackmail the West.
