A fire continued to rage in northern Israel near the Sea of Galilee. More than 450 vacationers were evacuated from the area.

Navy police rescued travelers who were staying at the beach. About 30 individuals were evacuated on rescue boats of the Israel Police.

Two additional fires broke out close to the Lebanese border in western Galilee. Roads 87 and 8277 were close to traffic as a precautionary measure.
