"Eliyahu Kay was killed today in a terrorist attack in Jerusalem. 
Eliyahu immigrated to Israel from South Africa, enlisted in the paratroopers as a lone soldier and lived in Modi'in. 
He was about to get married and start a family in Israel with his partner. 
Recently he worked as an information guide at the Western Wall plaza. 

On behalf of all the people of Israel, I share the grief of his family and spouse and send them my heartfelt condolences. His memory shall be blessed."
