The Chief of the General Staff, Major General Aviv Kochavi, toured the Alon headquarters of the Home Front Command today. The headquarters, whose shutting down has been postponed due to the current increase in coronavirus morbidity, is currently working to cut off the chains of infection.
During the tour, the Chief of Staff was presented with the new plan of action of the Alon headquarters. The plan was built in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, to stop the spread of the coronavirus, and the delta strain, in Israel and ensure the health of Israeli citizens.
The visit was attended by the head of the Home Front Command, Major General Uri Gordin, and the commander of the Alon headquarters, Brigadier General Reli Margalit.
