India successfully test-fired a locally developed anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), Helina, on April 11. The missile hit a simulated tank target after it was launched from an advanced light helicopter at a high altitude.
The flight test was jointly conducted by a team of DRDO, along with the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force.
Helina was also tested for a different range and altitude on April 12, as per the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
