The Kuwaiti Al-Jarida newspaper reported last week from a senior official that Iran has finished producing a long-range cruise missile, the missile is ready for operation. The missile will be similar to the Iranian "Shahad 136", except that the missile will run on rocket fuel together with a jet engine and will be able to reach long distances.
Iran may use a missile from the surface of Iraq against targets in the Middle East and the Gulf and plans to send it to their branches in Lebanon, Yemen and Syria.
The missile can hit commercial ships in the Gulf, the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea as happened with the British ship Mercer Street which is owned by Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer and was attacked in July of last year by a "Shahad 136" type UAV.
