The IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi revealed Wednesday that Iran’s advancement of its nuclear project has led the Israeli military to hasten its operative plans.
“The defense budget that was approved recently is aimed for that,” Kochavi stated, referring to some criticism hurled at a budget spike that was approved this week by the government.
“The IDF operated methodically and in various means to limit the influence of Iran in the Middle East,” he continued.
Meantime, the IDF confirmed earlier today that Israel operated against Iran once every two weeks. The attacks are carried out via missiles, either in the high seas or in Syrian territory.
In addition, the military dismissed reports suggesting that the Syrian army is able to intercept missiles of the Israel Air Force, saying they are now true.
