Assistance in repairing fire damage also from abroad - the Jewish-American Committee assists the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council

The Jewish-American Committee (AJC) has announced its contribution to the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, to assist in repairing the fire damage that has befallen the area this month. AJC is the first Jewish-American organization to make such a contribution to the Council. The amount will help the burned gardens, the restoration of the water system, and other civil infrastructure. In addition, a team from the organization's office in Jerusalem arrived in Ramat Raziel this week and assisted with the planting.

The General Manager of the Jewish-American Committee in Israel, Lt. Col. (Res.) Avital Leibowitz: “It is important for us to strengthen the resilience of the residents of Mateh Yehuda and give them full support from the other side of the ocean during this challenging period. We are here for you. We are proud to be the first Jewish-American organization to contribute to the restoration of fire damage, and we hope that more organizations will join this action. "
