A number of bombings occurred on Saturday morning in and around the city of Deir a-Zor, which is controlled by Assad regime forces and militias affiliated with Iran.

The targets of the air strike was Iranian militia sites in the Hawija Kateh area.

While the identity of the planes that attacked the area, which is the second attack in less than a week, has not been released, sources in Syria reported that the attack on the Iranian militia sites in Deir a-Zour was carried out by American UAVs.
