Israeli hero Ami Plant, stopped Syrians in Yom Kippur, passed away

Plant received the decoration of courage for his performance as a company commander in the Battle of the Baka Valley in Avigdor Kahalani's regiment.

Despite heavy losses, Plant managed to stop the entire Syrian invasion movement with only 6 tanks.
He later served as Director General of the Ministry of Internal Security.

So many brave heroes in the IDF and still he stands out to this day. It would be nice to get a little more information about him.
