Prince Abdullahiz bin Salman, Saudi Energy Minister, went on got angry last night on the sidelines of the climate conference in Glasgow.
As he walked down one of the corridors with his entourage he was asked by a reporter if his country was the one working behind the scenes to thwart the negotiations.
The minister got upset and bluntly replied "What you hear are false accusations, lies and deception".
According to reports from Glasgow, the Saudis are trying to thwart initiatives that will lead to a decline in demand for oil.
The countries participating in the conference are trying to formulate measures that will reduce emissions as a result of fuel consumption, but anonymous sources insist that the Saudis in Glasgow show a rigid line and insist that the supply of oil to the market will not be harmed.
