One of the largest demonstrations in Germany took place against the provision of weaponry to Ukraine for protection against the Russian invasion. It received criticism from high-ranking German government officials.
The Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin was the location for the gathering, which attracted 10,000 people. The police were on hand to ensure order, with 1,400 officials deployed to enforce restrictions on military uniforms, Russian and Soviet flags, military songs, and right-wing symbols. There was no indication that any right-wing groups participated in the protest. Germany's finance minister was among those who spoke out against the protest, stating that those who do not support Ukraine are on the wrong side of history.
