Israeli security forces arrested seven wanted Palestinians in Wednesday night counter-terror raids around Judea and Samaria, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Thursday.
Four Palestinians were arrested in the village of Al-Auja, near Jericho.
In the village of Tamon, in northern Samaria, Palestinians shot at soldiers from a passing car. The soldiers returned fire.
One Palestinian was arrested in Hebron while another two were arrested in the nearby village of Beit Ummar.
No Israeli forces were injured.
Israeli-Palestinian tensions remain high during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
Last year, a surge of Palestinian terror attacks began in the spring around Ramadan, killing 19 people. Israel responded by launching an ongoing sweep against terror in Judea and Samaria, which has thwarted 500 terror attacks and arrested more than 2,500 suspects.
