NEWSRAEL: Just two days after the Gantz-Mazan meeting that got such high ratings from Western media for a "new beginning" in Israeli-Palestinian relationships - and Abu Mazan is back to his usual: Demands, threats and incitement.
In a speech marking 57 years since the founding of Fatah, The head of the Palestinian Authority, Abu Mazen, says
that "we tell Israel, its leadership, its settlers and its extremists that we will not accept the continuation of your occupation and your settlements on our land no matter what the victims."
He added that "at the same time, we are reaching out to create a just and comprehensive peace." Abu Mazen also said that the Palestinian Authority will not give up "our heroic prisoners, the wounded and their families and the families of the martyrs.
Your struggles are high marks of honor that testify to your sacrifice in protecting your people and your homeland... Abbas added that the PA refuses to confiscate tax money, to demolish houses, confiscate land and "expel our people from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan."
