This morning, an Israeli aircraft apparently attacked military positions of Syrian government forces on the outskirts of the city of al-Baath (New Quneitra) in the Quneitra province in southwestern Syria.
The Syrian media claimed that "Israeli fighter jets" today, Monday, in two flights, attacked the building where the financial wings of the city of Al-Ba'at and the Tel Krum Khan area are located.
According to the media, the two areas attacked were targets where observations and intelligence gathering of the Lebanese "Hezbollah" were carried out from Israeli territory.
Hezbollah has set up a number of observation posts in front of the Israeli Golan Heights, equipped with advanced Iranian equipment for gathering information and intercepting broadcasts from the Israeli side.
The fighter jets attacked a third target in the "90th Brigade" of the Syrian government forces, which holds the border line with Israel between Quneitra and the border meeting with Lebanon - local media reported.
