Due to the continuing decline in the purchasing power of the Iranians, there is a 20% purchasing decrease in supermarket stores in the capital Tehran.

Darhshani, chairman of the Supermarket Association in the Iranian capital, noted that this trend is a result of rising prices of most basic products due to the country's economic crisis. 

Recently, Mutami, the head of the Association of Vehicle Showroom Owners in Iran,  also revealed that 70% of the showrooms were closed due to the economic recession.
