Bennett and Security Heads do not see eye-to-eye on response to wave of terror

Significant disagreements between the GSS chief and the chief of staff and the prime minister regarding the continuation of the treatment of the wave of terrorism.

The IDF and the GSS insisted in last night's assessment of the situation that Israel's interest is to continue with the policy of differentiation, detachment, and separation between the arenas.

The chief of staff clarifies: "Sinwar is not leading the wave of terrorism," the GSS chief says he still has some influence, but they both say to those present: "The most important thing is to focus on reducing religious extremism in Al-Aqsa."

The Prime Minister does not agree with this approach - he believes that Sinwar should pay a price for the incitement and encouragement to carry out attacks. And he demands from the heads of the defense establishment: Give me something!

He added: Present me with a basket of options for responses in the West Bank and Jerusalem as well - but also in Gaza.
