As the 2021 Presidential Elections have concluded, Yitzchak Herzog has won by a vast majority and been elected as the 11th President of the State of Israel!

By winning the elections, Herzog, also known as "Buji", is following in his father's footsteps - Chaim Herzog - who served as Israel's 6th President.

In his victory speech, Herzog addressed Israel's challenges said: We must strengthen Israel's international status and fight Antisemitism".

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Herzog and said: "In the name of all the citizens of Israel, I wish Herzog great success in his new position. I would also like to thank Miriam Peretz for an honorable candidacy. I am sure she will continue to contribute to the Israeli society, just as she has her entire life".
