After long weeks, the Jordanians returned yesterday to demonstrate against the government. Hundreds marched in the streets of the capital Amman and called for the overthrow of the government.
 
The demonstration is against the background of raising prices and increasing the tax burden on Jordanians. The demonstration was organized by the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the kingdom. In view of the government's difficulties and the widening budget deficit, the possibility of the demonstrations expanding to other parts of the kingdom should not be ruled out.
