The translation rights to Lihi Lapid's book "Zarot", the wife of the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Lapid, were sold to an American publisher for at least $100,000. 

The book was also chosen to open the institute's catalog out of the 22 books offered in it.

The office that represented Lapid in the deal is the "Israeli Institute of Hebrew Literature" - an association supported by state funds, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
