Defense Minister Benny Gantz held a situation assessment this morning in the Salem camp near Jenin, followed by a tour of the Jalama crossing area, following the escape of six terrorists from Gilboa Prison on Monday. "We will eventually, sooner or later, get our hand on whoever we need to get our hands on," Gantz said.
"It should be understood that these are six people in the millions who live here," the defense minister added. "We need to be able to take care of these six and their accomplices without breaking the other balances that exist within the area. I hope that today will end quietly, one way or another, the IDF is prepared for any development in any of the places."
Senior officials from the four security organizations participated in the assessment of the situation.
