Who is the most powerful air force in the world? Israel is only fourth largest in the Middle East

Today, Sunday, the Canadian portal for aerospace - Aeroemploi announced the list of countries with the most powerful air force on earth.

The most powerful air force on earth: According to a report by the Canadian portal Aeroemploi, the US Air Force is ranked first in this classification.

The report noted that the USA force is armed with more than three thousand aircraft in different versions, in addition to the most equipped and technologically advanced fighter aircraft in the world.

The second most powerful air force in the world: The Russian Air Force was ranked second on the list with 1,900 aircraft.

"Space forces are armed with fighter jets like the Su-35 and Su-34," he said, adding, "Moscow is also working on developing a new generation of long-range strategic missile-bearing bombers.

The website goes on to claim that "Chinese aviation is in third place, thanks to the serious assistance of the Soviet Union as early as 1949."

The list of the most powerful air forces on the planet also includes the Indian, Egyptian, Pakistani, Turkish and South Korean air forces.

Germany, with a fleet of more than 400 aircraft, was ranked tenth in the Canadian aerospace portal.


The largest air force in the Middle East

Earlier this year, the Global Firepower website, which specializes in military affairs, reported on the number of aircraft owned by the most powerful armies in the Middle East.

According to 2021 statistics, the ranking included the number of aircraft, fighter jets, interceptors, helicopters, military transport aircraft and advanced training aircraft. As for aircraft currently under development or ordering for next year, they were not taken into account.

According to the report, Turkey was ranked first in the region in terms of number of aircraft, with 1,056 fighter jets, slightly ahead of Egypt, which has advanced in recent years as it is ranked second with 1,053 fighter jets.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was ranked third, with 889 different fighter jets, ahead of Israel ranked fourth, with 595 fighter jets, while the UAE is in fifth place with 552 fighter jets which is making incredible progress this year.

Algeria for its part was ranked sixth with 551 fighter jets, ahead of Iran which was ranked seventh with 516 different fighter jets.

And in eighth place comes Syria, which holds 462 aircraft, while Iraq is ranked ninth with the number of aircraft up to 350, and Jordan came in tenth place with 261 different aircraft, according to a Global Firepower report.
